	Much of Freshwater Bay now has Conservation status, which is a welcome recognition of the area's historical and aesthetic importance. The association now has over 140 members and they can recieve the e-mail Newsletter by contacting tim@dn-images.com New committee members have taken up their posts. Summer 2010	Beach Barbeque We hope to change our recent record of picking the worst weather weekend for our popular event by consulting the seaweed oracle before confirming the date.


December 2009	Christmas Carols at the Lifeboat Station, with mince pies, mulled wine and the freezing evening breeze. We were delighted that so many braved the cold to enjoy this rather special event.
December2009	The trip to Bournemouth was a success, the coach was filled and a good time was had by all.
September 2009	The coach trip to Brighton and the Royal Pavillion was a good day out and proved very popular.
August 2009	The Beach BBQ followed the Freshwater Lifeboat Open Day and was a great sucess, despite the weather, raising Ł65 as donation to the Lifeboat. The official unveiling of the shelter Mosaic took place and the pictures are available by clicking the button.
